Our state-of-the-art trailer uses a hydraulic lift to raise your bin on top of our 360° rotating head that blasts the inside of your bin with 3,000 psi of 200° water. It's pretty cool, actually.
We capture the wastewater and send it through our collection system. It is filtered 7 times, down to 5 microns. For comparison a human hair is about 70 microns in size. While we don't recommend drinking it, our wastewater comes out pretty clean. With that said, we still ensure the wastewater is disposed of properly. DISCLAIMER: Never drink our wastewater. That'd be gross.

I used to clean my own bins. I tried drowning gunk in bleach, got splashed with this same gunk. Not only ineffective, but also horrible for the environment (and in most cases illegal) to dump into the street.
